We've gathered some Frequently Asked Questions for you that hopefully clears things up a bit....
Do I need to make a booking?
No. We will still be accepting walk-ins but space may be limited as we are operating table service only. You can book a table using the link below.
Can I drink at the bar?
No. You must remain at your table at all times when inside the building unless you are going to the toilet. You may still go outside to smoke but we would like to discourage frequent trips in and out of the building.
How many people can I book a table for?
Tables are limited to groups of no more than 2 households or bubbles. This means that any number of people from your home and one other home can sit together. You can also include any people who live alone who have joined your ‘social bubble’. If we think that this rule is being broken we may have to investigate this and ask for further proof that you are permitted to sit together. This is following instructions from the Environmental Health Officers of Lancaster City Council.
Do in need to give my name and address?
Yes. All customers are required by the government to provide contact details on entry and keep this information for 21 days to help with NHS track and trace if necessary. We cannot serve anyone without this information.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
No. Licenced premises have been told that neither our staff nor our customers are required to wear a face covering although some customers and staff may choose to wear one.
Do I need to maintain social distancing?
You must keep at least 1m away from anyone who is not with your party. Within your party we encourage you to keep some social distanting principles like limiting touching but you are not required to keep a 1m distance.
Can I buy drinks to take home?
Yes. While we are not currently offering a take-away service for cocktails you can still purchase other drinks to take home with you.
Can I pay with cash?
Yes. We are still accepting cash payment as we understand some people do not have access to card payments. We do have strict procedures in place for the handling of cash so please don’t be offended if we put gloves on before taking your payment.
